I did not know Mr. Beaty but recently listened to his podcast and wanted to let you know that he was an inspiration. We have a growing homeless population near me and it's easy to become jaded toward them. I will remember Mr. Beaty and effort to help them rather than resent them.
My heartfelt condolences go out to you all. The love of Mr. & Mrs. Beaty touched me and could be heard through the podcast. I am so glad you all have the audio of him speaking about the love he had for his family.
God bless,
Shawne

I was so sad to receive Anita's call advising of Jim's passing. I served on the Task Force for the Homeless board of directors for several years and as its Chairman for a term or two. I admit to becoming discouraged by the intractable nature of the problem...it seemed that the harder we all worked, the more homeless folks there seemed to be. Anita and Jim always soldiered on...seemingly never discouraged. While I lost track of them in recent years, I have particularly fond memories of a chartered yacht trip I invited Jim to accompany me on down the Intracoastal Waterway in Florida several years ago. While Jim was certainly an upright man of the cloth, it's safe to say a good time was had by all. He was a fine guy...condolences to all who survive him.

Dear Anita, I am so saddened to see the passing of sweet James. I just adored him and you. It was a honor to be his Nurse during his time at The Center of Advanced Medicine. Much comfort and peace to you.
