Family-Placed Death Notice

HENRY, James H. James H. Henry, 61, of Lawrenceville GA passed away Monday morning, September 23rd. He succumbed to a heart attack while providing for his family. He was born in Dumas, Texas, on January 22, 1952. He was the son of William Earl Henry and Ruby Correne Henry. He was the 7th born of 10 children. He graduated from White County High in Cleveland Georgia. He met Patricia Anne Holmberg on a blind date and they married on July 7th 1973. He was known as "John" Henry while working at Tucker Technology, formerly Tucker Tool & Die, where he worked for 31 Years. He spent the last 8 years of his life fabricating architectural signage while employed at Henry Graphics. He was a family man that took great pride in his work. He loved his wife, children, siblings, mother, cousins, nieces, and nephews with all his heart and held his family as sacred. He burst with joy knowing he could have all the family together at his annual Christmas Eve celebration. If you wanted to see him on a Saturday in the fall, you were prepared to watch the University of Georgia Bulldogs football game, because that is what he would be doing. He was an athlete, hunter, fisherman, and a conservationist who loved animals, most of which his beloved dog Miss Dooley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl & Ruby Henry; sister, Gwen Mosely; sister, Linda McClendon. Survivors include his wife of 40 years and best friend, Patricia H. Henry; daughter, Jaime L. Henry of Duluth GA; son, Jerad W. Henry of Lawrenceville GA; sister, Charlotte Dunn of Dumas TX; sister, Earleen Caudle of McCloud OK; brother, Randall Henry of Jefferson GA; sister, Carolyn Long of Dumas TX; brother, Keith Henry of Sautee GA; sister, Debbie Harper of Dumas TX; sister, Kay Hebebrand of Cleveland GA. The family will be accepting visitors from 6-8 PM on Thursday, September 26, 2013, at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA. A celebration of a great man's life will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, September 27, 2013 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home in Lawrenceville with James's nephew Ron Dunn officiating. Interment will follow at Gwinnett Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Gwinnett Humane Society, www.gwinnetthumane.com, P.O.
