James PULLIAM Sr.

PULLIAM, Sr., James Mr. James "Jim" Harold Pulliam, Sr., age 83 of Palmetto formerly of Newnan, died at Southwest Christian Care on April 4, 2014. He was born in Tennille, GA on November 12, 1930 to the late Alma Clifton Pulliam and Melba Lundy Pulliam. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Clifton Pulliam, Lewis Pulliam, and Helen Downs. Jim served in the United State Air Force and was a mechanic for Eastern Air Lines. He was the owner of Pulliam Tire Company, Scott Exterminating Co., and was a member of Central Baptist Church, Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Zuline Pulliam; sons, Jimmy Pulliam (Lynn), Don Pulliam (Jeanie), and Chris Pulliam (Kim); brothers, Hubert Pulliam (Betty), Dr. Robert Pulliam (Martha), Earl Pulliam (Barbara), and Tommy Pulliam (Juanita); sister, Frances Tillman; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at Central Baptist Church, Newnan with Dr. Joel Richardson and Rev. Sam Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Saturday, 4-7 p.m .
