Once in a while Jean's face pops up in my mind. She was such an inspiring human being, she refuses to be forgotten.
You did well, sweet lady.
Rest in peace.

Jean and I worked together many years at "J" House. She was such an incredible volunteer. She always brought her CAN DO attitude and her endless cup of love for all who crossed her path. She was always part of the solution! Committed to making this world a better place....in fact it is because Jean shared herself with all of us. See you on the other with that big smile and hug. Love, Licia Cleaveland

I knew Jean during our time together at Jerusalem House in Atlanta. She was an amazing human being, and I looked up to her. Since she moved to Chicago, we exchanged Christmas cards until last year. I was wondering about her, when I read her obit in the AJC today. I always admired her energy, she never sat still, always on the go. Always involved in making a difference in other people's lives. She was a shining star. Rest in peace sweetie, you've deserved your rest.

At Psalm 90:10 it speaks of those living to 80 years or longer as having special mightiness. This can definitely be said of Ms.Jean Taylor Levine. I did not personally know her but upon reading her obituary, Ms Levine seemed to be a notable person and one of great integrity. I'm very sorry for the loss that her loved ones feel.
