Family-Placed Death Notice

REVEREND JEFF STONE Rev. Jeff Stone, age 45, of Dalton, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2003 at his residence. He served as a pastor in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church. He came to Dalton in June 2002 to served as the pastor of the Dawnville United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Susan Stone of the residence; five children, Sarah Stone, Amanda Stone, Mary Cate Seifert, Donald Seifert and Tori Seifert; father and mother, Robert and Glenda Stone of Lawrenceville; one sister, Janet Smith of Acworth; one brother, Paul Stone of Ft. Collins, Colorado. A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 7, 2003 at 4:00 P.M. at the Dawnville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Wayne Smith and Rev. Elizabeth Larocca-Pitts officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 3:00 P.M. until the service hour at 4:00 P.M. A family graveside committal service will be held Monday, December 8, 2003 at 1:00 P.M. at Gwinnett Memorial Park in Lawrenceville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Glisson, Dahlonega, GA of the United Methodist Church Children's Home. Julian Peeples Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove Chapel, Dalton, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
