Jennifer Granieri Obituary
Jennifer Cilbea Vance Granieri, 55, of West Chester, PA, died October 18, 2024, at the Georgian Lakeside in Roswell, GA after a long illness.
Born in Atlanta on January 20,1969, to the late Charles Monroe Vance, Jr. and the late Brenda Jo (Mitchell) Vance, who predeceased her earlier this year, Jenni attended Northside High School in Atlanta and Sweet Briar College in Virginia, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa. After working as a caterer and web designer, she enjoyed a long career as a horse trainer and manager of Blue Rock Farm in West Chester, PA.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Ronald J. Granieri; son, Brendan James Vance Granieri, of West Chester, PA; aunts, Rosanne V. Hoblitzelle (Bill) of New Haven, Connecticut and Kathryn Cecile Logan (Steve) of Roswell; uncle William Mitchell and aunt Judy Mitchell of Moulton, Alabama; her cousin, Stephanie Logan Byrne and her husband, Mark Byrne; and many more cousins and friends. Her dog, Cordelia, horses, Aslan and Jezebela, and her dear friend, Parker Pearson will miss her deeply.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 26, followed by service at 11:00 AM, H. M. Patterson and Son-Oglethorpe Hill Chapel, Atlanta. Interment in Decatur Cemetery. Memorials to the Dementia Society of America, https://www.dementiasociety.org
