RUSHIN, Jr., Jimmy L. Mr. Jimmy L. Rushin, Jr. passed April 4, 2013. Homegoing Service will be held Saturday April 13, 2013 at Mt. Patmos Baptist Church, Minister Johnny Temer, eulogist. Interment Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Please assemble at the Church at 9:30 AM. Raleigh Rucker Funeral Home 404-288-7015.

Never thought that seeing you go would be something I had to see.. I never thought that that sort of sadness ever existed within a person..The more and more the days go by I realize that you were more than anybody could ever ask for in life...that goofiness, the motivational speeches, everything you made happiness while you were here. My dear brother Jimmy. Never did i imagine you being gone so soon. Not only did i lose my brother i lost my bestfriend. I often forget that you are gone cause we had a bond so strong and we were so close. I am the oldest but i looked up to you as if you was my older brother. I turned to you for everything. You was there for me the most throughout my good and bad day. No matter the situation you always encouraged me, gave me good advice and told me i was doing a great job thus far. We shared a passion for cooking. We was always sharing recipes and ideas on cooking. You always kept me laughing. Even on my bad days, you would assure me that everything was go be okay. Your favorite saying was "til my casket drop". Now it has dropped and Im not sure if im go be okay. And i really really miss you. Your one and only loving sister and bestfriend. Your "Shorty Doo Whop". I love you Jimmy.
