A year ago today, Atlanta lost one of the most "Beautiful Smiles" on television. Jovita, you will never be forgotten, by your family, friends, and the great City of Atlanta.
Your love for the homeless and people in need is what made you the beautiful soul that you were and always will be no matter what.

Heavenly 1st Birthday!

A smile so beautiful and a personality to match never passes away with time. It's so hard to believe you've been with the Lord for a whole year now because what you left behind is so bright and meaningful, it's almost tangible. I continue to keep your family in my prayers. I will never forget your grace. Beloved Jovita was an angel among us. Now she is one with the angels in heaven.

My siblings (Nodean Scott, Colonel Gregory Scott, Deloris Scott Martin) and I (Lenora Scott) extend our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences to the immediate family of our dear cousin, Jovita L. Moore. We pray the memories you (Aunt Yvonne, Shelby, Josh and Marley) created with your daughter/mother Jovita will bring you some sense of peace and a special joy to your heart.

Growing up with Jovita was indeed fun and inspiring. We all set our goals and worked our way towards them; Jovita lived her dreams and I am so glad God blessed her to do so.

Jovita's physical presence will be missed. We are grateful that she had a spiritual upbringing instilled into her by her grandmother Alice Wallace Scott and that she trusted God to lead her along the path He laid out for her.

We will treasure our memories of her. We regret not having had the opportunity to be there with you to pay our final respects to our dear cousin, but we are grateful for her life and the times we spent together.
Please continue to hold your head high and strive for the excellence she instilled within and encouraged upon you.
May God continue to have Grace and Mercy upon each of you, shine His light within and through you and grant you a peace in the days, weeks and years to come.

Love,
The beloved children of the late Minnie & Edward Scott
