Keith I wish my sincere condolences on the loss of you Mom. It is stated that time heals wounds but it always especially in the loss of a sweet Mom as yours that struck by your children and you as you raised and did e everything to keep the home fire burning! I do feel for you deeply especially because of the loss of your sister. From what I have read your Mom and your sister was very close to you and you to them. I do want you to know if ever you need a year I am just one call one touch and one state away. My desire for you is to live a happy peaceful healthy life surrounded by people you love and can trust! To Keith Douglass Sweat and family
No one knows when the storm will pass but God. He prepares us for the turbulence and prepares us for the aftermath. I knew the charming Ms Juanita and will always remember her as a kind, caring person that nurtured Keith and motivated everyone she met. She installed fine morals into her son and she championed the community in which she lived. She was, in a sense, a sparrow backed by the power of the almighty God along with an army of Angels. She fought the good fight and carried on. She always had her eyes on God. His eyes were always on the sparrow and He will continue to watch over each and every one of you. Stay strong and carry on Ms Juanita's legacy.

To the Sweat Family,
I remember Ms. Sweat from many many years ago. She, along with my own mom (Ginger Harris), was a Drum Corps Mom in Harlems's 28th Pct PAL Travelers Drum and Bugle Corps, a huge part of my life back then. We traveled, rehearsed, marched, rehearsed, traveled...extensively. We were teens and pre-teens, always in need of supervision, and Ms. Sweat was our extended-parent...very caring, concerned and protective of all of us, and we respected her.
That is my memory of Ms. Sweat. Though it may be small to those of you reading this, to me...not so small because Ms. Sweat formed part of the link to my youth.
May God bless her and keep her eternally, and may He comfort you--her family--and give you peace.
