Juanita Zimmerman Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
Juanita W. Zimmerman, age 78, of Marietta, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Raymond H. Zimmerman and children, Joan Sheppard and John Zimmerman, nine grandchildren, and her sister, Ann Fink. She was preceded in death by two children, Reba Sawyer and Bill Zimmerman. She retired from Kennestone Hospital after a 20 year career as Personnel Manager. She was a Girl Scout leader and community volunteer. The family will receive visitors at Carmichael Funeral Home on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta on Wednesday, January 2 from 9 AM to 11 AM. Service will be held immediately following at 11 AM in the Chapel.

There was only ONE Juanita. Our days together started at Kennestone and lasted throughout her lifetime. We were truly blessed to call her our friend. our love and devotion to the entire family.

I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time. Juanita was a wonderful, loving, caring person and a terrific Girl Scout leader. She had so much energy and enthusiasm and was always willing to lend a hand at all times. I enjoyed working with her and Troop 265. She will be missed.
