While I never met you, sir, I'm lucky to be with your granddaughter Molly and I can tell how much they love and miss you. Everyone remembers you in the highest regards as a loving, caring, and dedicated man both to your family and friends as well as medicine. I may not be able to meet you now, but you are an inspiration to all.

Dr Wenger was an outstanding physician and educator. During my Fellowship at Emory he was so kind and welcomed me into his home. I will always remember this friendship

Dear Nanette, Debbie, Judy and Beth,
We were saddened to hear of Julius' passing. We carry precious memories, particularly of earlier days - of family gatherings and weddings, anniversaries - in the always welcoming home and garden of Fanny and Abe Wenger, of blessed memory.
Their pride and joy in witnessing the generations - their children, Julius and Sarah, and their grandchildren, Debbie, Judy, Beth, Tammy and Joshua celebrating together, filling up the spaces in Fanny's beautiful garden in the Jamaica estates - was particularly poignant in the face of the tragedy which had recently befallen many of their family members, who perished in the Holocaust. Our father and husband, Markus Ender and grandfather, Leon Ender, both of blessed memory, were always grateful for the welcome, support and assistance they received from the Wenger family in renewing their lives in America.
With our deepest condolences and love,
Ida Ender, Amelia Ender, Risa Ender

I have just learned of the passing of Julius. Judy and I were so saddened to learn this and are heart broken for Nanette and the family. Julius was a wonderful person and he was so kind to me during my time in Atalnta and Emory. Recently when we saw each other at the Emory Alumni Dinner, I felt so welcome and as if I had returned home. He will be so missed Nanette you are in my heart

I will never forget the kindness shown to me by Julius when I returned to my residency at the VA after my military service. I was two years away from patient care and my first rotation was Gastroenterology. He was one of several great teachers at the VA but he was my first mentor. Together uncovered a case of Leptospirosis (I never saw one since) and I was on my way. What a great guy!

I am glad I was able to learn a little bit about your father and about the wonderful contributions he made over his lifetime.

I was the lucky girl who had Cousin Julius and Cousin Nanette as part of my life. Cousin Julius took me to the ballet, the symohiny and never laughed when a little 8 year old wondered where was the popcorn at the Fox during the ballet! There was not an important moment in my life that Cousin Julius was not a part. When we needed his medical expertise, he was always there and helpful. When I needed support thorough my family's worst if times, we knew he was with us. I am so thankful that he and Cousin Nanetter had me as their parent learning curve. I will miss him.

I didn't know Dr. Wenger, but if he was anything like Mrs Debbie Wiatrak, I am sure he was a wonderful person. May God Be With You for he holds the key to it all.

Dear Nanette,

Ezra just notified me today and it was quite a shock. I loved hearing you speak about him and all the interesting things he was doing in retirement. I'm so sorry for your loss but know you'll be okay eventually because of all the love and support you have from your family. Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers.

Warm regards, Lisa
