Carol,
I was and am heartbroken to hear of Keith's passing. His love and support of you was always on display. What I remember most about Keith is that he readily embraced those around her. I always found him good- natured, warm and welcoming. Praying for God's comfort for you and your family.

When I met Keith he was just finishing graduate school in social work which had been a long route for him to that destination. But quite a journey it had been and I recognized right away that he not only brought a commitment to the profession but years of experience in business, a combination hard to find. And I continued to be impressed as the years went on by his gentle and loving nature, not only to the clients he worked with but to the other social workers he came to supervise and manage. I am proud to have known him and called him a peer and a friend.

He was a natural at social work and an amazingly kind, compassionate, and caring person. His life has blessed many and he will be missed. My sincere condolences go out to his family.

Carol and family, I was so sad to hear about Keith's passing. Keith was instrumental with helping me graduate from UGA (2008). His kindness during that time could never be repaid. He was not only a mentor, but a friend; always able to be present when needed the most. He will be deeply missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I've known Keith and the Hartman family for years at the dental office I work at. The whole family is a blessing to others. I knew that Keith was a great man of great character - loved his family deeply - and was always kind natured. You just knew he was one of the good ones. I've always admired him - small conversations, laughter, scheduling him for appointments, etc. I loved reading more about him - and how he really lived life. I know that will pass down in spirit for many generations to come. God Bless you all... So very sorry for your loss - and will pray for your peace during this time. <3 Love, Tracie

Carol and family - I am so sad to hear about Keith´s passing. I´ve known Keith since elementary school seeing him only a few times over the years. The last time was a few years ago at jury duty. He was the same calming, compassionate and kind person he´s always been. My heart and prayers for peace are with all of you during this time.

Keith has always been a vibrant and active member of the Rivermist Community, and one of the kindest, most compassionate men I know. When there was a crisis, Keith was always there with kind and wise advice. I'm deeply saddened that he has passed!
One of my favorite memories of Keith is when he taught my Girl Scout troop about the history of the Red Arrow Ranch (Rivermist), and other times allowed them to build their first campfires, hike and swim on his property.
Our greatest condolences to his entire family!

Sending support and peace to my work colleague Bradley and his family and friends. Bradley, I know that your amazing father had to be incredibly proud of the great work you do, the terrific father and human you are--I am grateful to and for him as I know a HUGE part of that is because of his influence in your life.

My sincere condolences to the Hartman family. Praying for peace and comfort during this difficult time. I will miss my friend and manager. Keith was such a joy to work with and he was so patient, welcoming and understanding. He would always remember my birthday, even after he moved on to his future endeavors. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to connect with him earlier this year. Rest on my friend

You probably don't remember me, but I cleaned your house for a few years while I was in between jobs. I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss. I always thought you had such a warm, supportive family, and I'm sure this is a blow for everyone. Please give my love to the children.

Keith was my counsel for over three years of Wednesdays. We shared our professional goals and he shared compassion throughout the life-changing time of COVID. His guidance was grounding. It's been an unforgettable journey. He's on another journey and I wish the Hartman family compassion for his loss while love sustains you.

I met Keith in the early 60's in Macon GA we were in the cub scouts together.
Keith's family moved away and at that time I did not know where.
About a year later my family moved to Avondale Ga and I started going to Forest Hill Elementary school.
One day I was walking down the hall and there was Keith going to the same school.
Keith got me into Boyscouts at Decatur Prespertian Church.
I remember 1 camping trip that we left the church and at that time I thought it took half a day to get where we were going.
It turned out to be the Hartman farm.
My family moved away in the late 60's to Chattanooga then Miami, and back to Atlanta area in 1977 and settled in Lilburn.
My parents started going to Good Shepherd Prespertian Church and found out that where the moved to was right around the corner from the Hartman farm, and that they were going to the same church.
I looked Keith up when I moved to Atlanta about a year later and at that time he was working and living in Grant Park area.
I have stayed in touch whit him through the years maybe not as much as I should have but I stayed intouch.
He was a good friend and one of my longest known friends.
He will be missed .
My prayers and Condolences go to the Family
