Family-Placed Death Notice

ZENUS, Kenneth Kenneth "Ken" George Zenus age 69, of Roswell, died March 26, 2008. He was born on March 2, 1939 in Elizabeth NJ to Mr. and Mrs. George Zenus. Ken graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Elizabeth, the College of Santa Fe with a BS in Business, Fordham University, NYC, with a MA in International Economics, Fairleigh Dickenson University, Madison NJ, with a MBA in Finance and the University of Houston School of Law. He served our country in the US Army and attended Officers Candidate School. Ken retired from AT&T as Southeast Tax Director. He was an avid traveler who made it his mission, and accomplished his goal, of visiting all 50 states. Ken was an avid golfer with a best score of even par 72. He was known for his optimism, love of life, and total dedication to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed by all. Survivors include his wife Valerie Hackett Zenus; sons and daughters-in law Matthew Laurence and Christine Amanda Zenus of Temecula CA, and Stephen Gregory and Angela Roberts Zenus of Hiram GA; grandchildren Kendall Evon Zenus and Griffin Matthew Zenus; grandchild-to-be Baby Z, who is due on August 19th, 2008; and sister Constance Livecchi of Linden, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 28 at 10:00 AM from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Alpharetta, with Father Greg Goolsby to officiate. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service in the Church Chapel. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice Atlanta, 1244 Park Vista Dr. NE Atlanta, GA 30319.
