BENTON, Kent Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Kent Rogers Benton, of Atlanta, GA, Saturday, April 2, 2011; 2:00 pm; Allen Temple AME Church, 1625 Joseph E. Boone Blvd., NW, Atlanta, GA with Rev. Scottie Swinney, officiating and Dr. Walter L. Kimbrough, Eulogist. Interment Monte Vista. Remains in state 1:00 PM. Family and friends assemble at 1:45 pm at the church. Kent leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Ira Rogers Benton-Cundiff; sister, Rita (Elwood) Gibson; nephews, Christopher and Adrian (Traci) Gibson; Aunt, Lucile Carter; uncle, Samuel Rogers and a host other relatives and friends. Family hour THIS EVENING from 6PM - 7PM at Willie A. Watkins Historical West End Chapel, 1003 Ralph D. Abernathy Blvd., Atlanta, GA, 404-758-1731.
