Family-Placed Death Notice
Funeral services for LaBlonda Yvonne McFadden will be held Thursday, March 18, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the North Point Community Church, 4350 North Point Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA. Interment, Greenlawn Cemetery, Alpharetta, GA. Loving survivors include husband, Alif McFadden; two sons, Jordan Allen and John Kaden; mother, Jewel Carey; two sisters, Michelle and Nicole Carey; mother-in-law, two grandmothers, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation and viewing Wednesday, March 17, 2 to 9 p.m. at Smith's Mortuary, 2905 Main St., East Point, GA, 404-763-3312.

Dear Alif, Jordan, John & the Cary/McFadden Family,
Words cannot begin to express our heartfelt sorrow over your tremendous loss. We wanted you all to know how much we loved "Blondie" and that we will miss her greatly. When God closes one door he opens another. As Christians, we should not question God but trust and accept his will. Please don't hesitate to call on us for anything you or the boys may need. Alif - My heart goes out to you and the boys. "Blondie" will truly be missed. When I think of her, I think back to our Ivey Pointe New Year's party and how much fun we all had. Eric and I are here for you and will continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers. To God be the glory.

Cousin I will miss you ..this is too sudden to put into words. Just as we were to enjoy our families as adults this tragedy has happened. We all are in pain that no one can describe. My heart goes out to your husband and children, may God drape them with strength and peace of mind...You are loved and cherished. Our sincere sympathy and love go out to you and your family at this time. Our daughter Maegan Balius is in Miss Nancy's class with Jordan. LaBlonda was such a great woman, full of spirit and always had a smile on her face. LaBlonda would always say hello to Maegan and Maegan remembers that. She will be missed. This was my loving cousin. Her love to her family was unconditional. She was a loving wife, mother, friend and cousin. If it had not been for the Lord on her side tell me where would she be. May God keep our family in his prayers...
