Family-Placed Death Notice
LAYTON V. "Vic" CARSON Graveside service for Vic Carson will be held Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 1:30 PM at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, GA. He served in the Pacific Campaign during World War II. He graduated from Georgia Military Academy and Georgia Tech. He was an avid Amateur radio operator for 60 years (W4OCH). He was a member and served as Regional Director for Air Force MARS (AFF2C) for over 30 years. He is survived by his two cousins, Martha Parish, Highlands, NC and Rosemary Muchmore, Frankfort, KY. Byars Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 678-455-5815.

I had the opportunity to sit in on Vics MARS broadcasts and sit in awe in something bigger than life. Vic basically raised me from a "young boy with big eyes" to a navy vet and set me on the correct path in life. Vic, we miss you man. Thank you...
