TURNER, Leslie Mr. Leslie Turner of Atlanta passed on September 2, 2008. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008, 11 AM, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 17 Fairburn Rd. SW, Atlanta. Instate 10 AM. Pastor Douglas Stowers. Interment Westview Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 10 AM on the day of service. Survivors: wife, Essie M. Turner; children; grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Viewing today 10 AM -9 PM at Murray Brothers Cascade Chapel, 1199 Utoy Springs Rd. To the Turner Family:
I will miss seeing Deacon Leslie at Mt. Calvary. Many years ago we sang besides each other in the choir, he had a great sense of humor. He always alerted me to when one of Ms. Turner's pies was being served at a meal. He was dedicated to Mt. Calvary and his God and I believe he served both well. I will miss seeing his smiling face and commenting on how "dapper" he looked. May God continue to bless each of you in your hour of bereavement.

TO THE TURNER FAMILY MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY.
I WORKED WITH MR. TURNER FOR SEVERAL YEARS AT MARTA BEFORE HIS RETIREMENT. HE WAS ONE OF THE KINDEST PEOLPLE TO WORK WITH, SO PATIENT. HE WAS A CHURCH GOING, GOD FEARING, SHARP WALKING MAN, WITH A VERY KIND HEART.
"WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING".
