To the Thomas Family,
Today is the anniversary of the last day that Linda and I were together and tomorrow will be the anniversary of her transition. God has kept us through this very trying year. We will continue to come together in his name and know that he will comfort and heal our hearts. So family let us praise and honor God and always stand on his word. Truly even in the midst of such a loss he is still worthy to be praised!
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not to your own understanding; in all your ways aknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Psalms 3:5-6

To The Yancey and Thomas Family:
The entire Jackson Family was sadden to hear about the loss of your love one. We all go a long way back and our families always connected with such warmth and admiration.
Though we all have traveled on different journies, there are those that cross paths in your life that you never forget and the Thomas family and Linda is such a one. Linda has always been a beautiful person. We have all at some point in our youth laughed, joked, and shared some happy memories as families.
Our families fond memories in Pool Creek will never be forgotten. We pray that the Lord will continue to bless the family through this difficult time right now. This is a time each of you will have to allow God an opportunity to wrap his arms around you in your time of grief.
We pray for God to give the family courage, strength, and peace; and you will be in our prayers.
May God continue to bless each of you.

To Derrick yancey and faimily,Just a few weeks out of the blue Linda contacted me in New york we talk and remenisce on our time working together as Detention officers in DKSO jail. You must Know that your daughter, wife , mother, Sister and Friend was a genuine and loving spirit. She was a dedicated, caring, Loving wife,and mother.Her role as a humanbeing had no hidden agendas or cruel intentions.Linda spirit and intentions was always pure.She will call my home or duty station just for me to say something funny for her to laugh.And she laugh with her whole heart the same way she love.Linda, I am glad that your spirit lead you back to me so I could once again embrace you, before you past.And to her family and friends May the peace and Blessings of Allah be upon you "Asalaam Alaikum".
Look to this day!For it is life, the very life of life,In its brief course lie all the truths and realities of existence,The joy of growth
The spendor of action.
The glory of power,
For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision
But today well lived makes every yesterday a memory of happiness,
And every tomorrow a vision of hope
Look well therefore, to this day.(unknown)
I shall pass through this world but once.
If there fore, there be any kindness I can show, or any good thing I can do, let me do it now, Let me not defer it or neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again (unknown)

Dear Family,
I did not know Linda, but I can tell she was truly loved and will be missed. Through your grief, please always remember that God Almighty would never do anything to cause any human being pain. The book of Job tells us that He yearns for the day when all will live again. Jesus promised us this when he resurrected Lazarus. How wonderful to know you can see all those who sleep in death again. In the meantime, may the peace of God be with you all.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

When I am dead, my dearest
When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.
I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.

To the Thomas Family:
Please accept our sincerest condolences in your loss and you will need the strength of GOD to see you through. The last time we saw Linda was at the funeral for Donald. We were glad to see her but not under those circumstances. Please stay together and keep both yourself and the Yancey family up lifted in prayer.

To the family,
The most common thing that nearly all can agree on is that Linda was the same person from the first day you met her. Always displaying a sweet and pleasant demeanor. Never a foul or unkind word to say about anyone. Our losing her so tragically seems so unfair because of her sweet spirit. Please know that she was loved by many and will truly be missed. Heaven just gained another Angel!
