Dr. Brown was wonderful to Know and learn from ... her present ... filled the room at Clark Atlanta University. She was an outstanding instructor, representative of the Librarian profession, and the human race. She showed us how kind we can be, how intelligent and generous we can be. Dr. Brown had a chance to give back,to teach, to love and to laugh. She knew when her work was finished. She had done what she was sent here to do.

Dr.Lorene Brown represented, demonstrated and shared with us all how to be outstanding Librarians. Thank You for the knowledge.

My teacher, my mentor, my soror (AKA). Opening your home to us as graduate students at Atlanta University has stayed with me through my career as a professional Librarian. Dr. Lorene and Dr. Paul allowed us to see what true love at its best looked like. That beautiful home, high on the hill, on Flamingo Dr. , They both were just precious jewels to have grace our presence and I thank them both.
