To The Graham Family,
Please accept my condolences on your loss. I was very saddened to hear of Chief Graham's death. It was eight years ago that he showed up at my workplace and hung his head low before me while his face filled with tears. He endured my screaming and crying as he drove me to the hospital emergency room to "view" my late husband . I am grateful for the support he provided. He will always hold a special place in my heart.

To The Graham Family,
Chief as we always referred to him, long before this title was offically bestowed upom was truly a giant among men. Not only did I know him as a part of the barber shop gathering at Mitchells Barber Shop, but I knew him as a neighbor, a friend an advisor and a gentleman. His words of wisdom will always be missed. After almost 40 years of memories and conversations, its hard to say good bye but I know we shall gather together again in the glorious kingdom called Heaven.

Your Hermosa Drive Neighbor as I always joked with you, before you decided to move on up.

To the Family of Chief Graham,
I have always been amazed that I remembered the name Louis Graham for so many years . While I was home from college in the summer in 1966 , my Mother's car was stolen from her apartment complex in Buckhead. She was a single Mom on her own and had just bought her new car so was so distraught and nothing I could say would help. We called the police and up drove Louis Graham. His composure, kindness and reassurances worked magic on my Mom. I knew at that moment that he was special. - he was my hero !!. He took such a command of the situation -even giving us updates and finally finding it weeks later- that it made me smile
years later when he was made lieutenant and then chief. I always felt Atlanta was in good hands if he was still there. Thank you Louis Graham for one night long ago and for being the kindest policeman I have known !! You will surely be missed but as so many have said, your legacy and example will live on.
Thanks to his family for sharing him with us all in such a special way. God bless you.

To the Graham Family, I would like to extend my condolences and deepest sympathy for your loss of Chief Graham. I was blessed to meet Chief Graham when I became employed for FC Comm 911 in 1997. He was my employer. He was such a pleasant man to work for. As a disabled employee in a wheelchair he made sure that I knew I was welcome and belonged to the FC Family. He had such a beautiful spirit. I will always cherish the memories I have of him. May God's Strength carry all of you through this difficult time. Blessings to All of You. He Truly was a Good Man.

I worked with Lewis at the Atlanta city jail on Decatur St back in 1972/73. He was so pleasant and polite and I remember he would bring his lunch (or dinner, since it was evening shift). Heaven is a better place with him in it. Bless your family

To the family: May the comfort from family and friends strengthen you during this difficult time, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

It is with all pleasantness when I think of Louis. He was always in an upbeat mood with smiles and laughter that made me happy to be around him. I admire and respect him for his professionalism and his wisdom in a profession that offered many challanges that he faced bravely. I will always remember him as a friend.
It is my prayer that God will bless you, his family, with strength and comfort in this, in my feeling, untimely lost. May you be often refreshed, strengthened and comforted in the many pleasant and joyful times that you experienced with Louis as you remember and relive them in your mind and with family.
Tears are not shamful, but just silver stars of love that you are putting in the crown of the one you love.
I will keep you in my prayers and in my heart. If there is something that I can do to help, please call.
