Virginia Kirkland was a loving and fun Mom to more than just the Kirkland children. I have so many memories of the Kirkland's, the Clay's and the Baker's getting together. Everytime I would she Virginia she was always up beat and smiling -- always. She was a part of a lot of our lives and I am grateful to have had Her and Hapeville to help make many good memories as a young boy growing up. God Bless all of the Kirkland Family.

Nick, Carolyne and all the Kirklands, I'm very sorry for your loss. Nick, without a doubt she's "kickin' it" and telling stories about the great days in Hapeville with all the rest of our parents. Almost all of them are together now. Sad for us but kind of beautiful in a way. My heart goes out to you.

It is with deepest sympathies that I send my condolences. It is often difficult to find the right words to say, but I do hope that it gives you comfort in knowing that God is near to all those calling upon his name in truth; and he is always ready to show his strength on behalf of those whose heart is complete toward him. (Psalm 145:18; 2 Chron. 16:9).

Nicky, Diane, Jan, and Kim,

There is no loss like that of our mothers. It takes a piece of our hearts that will always be void. The wonderful thing is that God fills us with such loving memories that come flooding back from all the years of sharing that special mother's love. May each of you and your families hold tight to those cherished times and may they fill you with peace.
