Glynn, Donna, Tim, Tom and Tricia: Mike and I just received a call from Mike's sister about Mark. I know Mark put up a fight. It has been almost a year since Glynn and I talked about Mark's treatment at Duke. We just got off the phone with Carl Barton (in Waco, TX now) to pass 'the word' letting him know about Rider. Our hearts are heavy and if we knew, we would have been there today with you. I'll get in touch soon. Love, Mike and Pat Worley Dexter, GA

Glenn, Dona and family,
An important piece of our past memories is now in heaven. We pray for the family's strength and courage which you have already demonstrated during the past year or so attending to Mark and his needs. You were blessed to have had this time so close with him.
What can we say? We love you folks and you know it. Be assured of God's Grace and Love and Mercy. In all things.
With Love in Christ, Ronnie and Betty Barron

The Shriver family is very much on my mind and in my prayers today. I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss. Mark was a good friend and we go back a long way... almost as long as I can remember. I will always treasure the good times we shared together. May memories of happier times sustain you in your grief.

Donna and Glenn and Family,
So sorry to hear about Mark's death. Children are not suppose to go before their parents but we believe God has a plan for each of us and that plan is good. One day we will know why things like this happen. In the meantime remember the good times and the fond memories. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

I don't know if you remember me or not, I am Mike Weaver's wife Donna. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am about Mark, he was a great person and loved by many. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you need anything. I remember one time Mark wrote a note to my daughter Nicole from Santa she was small she believed it was Santa, I don't know who had the biggest grin on there face Mike or Mark when we read the letter to her. I talked to Mark when Mike died, it really does help to talk to old friends sometimes. Mike and Mark can be together now, and Mike will like that.
