Marvin, Sr. was a wonderful man, beloved by many, including me. I have such fond memories of working with him on Atlanta's bid for the 1996 Olympics. Being a part of his campaign for Mayor was an honor and a privilege. He was a dear friend who truly made our world a better place to be.

My condolences to the family of Judge Marvin Arrington. He has been a great inspiration to me for a long time. Even though I didn't attend college, he was always encouraging me to take it to the next level. The voice of Encouragement RIP.

My heartfelt sympathy. Judge Arrington was a valued personal motivator to me. He had me to stand and poured accolades on me before he addressed an Ebenezer Men's Day Program. We mourn, but not like those who have no Hope as we do in Jesus Christ.

Judge Arrington has been an influence in my life since I was a child. I went to school with his son and later after growing up I began to appreciate who he was, where he came from and how he touched all our lives. Watching him work for our community was always a teaching lesson. I remember one judgment he made on the life of a young black man which instead of punishing him to a place he would not recover from perpetually, he gave him encouragement and services to allow him a second chance to turn his life around and move forward and achieve greatness for himself and society.
Judge Arrington's activism from his bench will never be forgotten and his legacy lives on in history and through the good works of his children.
Rest well dear teacher. Go home to the place our Father has created for you and we that believe in his name Jesus shall follow you in due time to our Father's Kingdom. AMEN
