THOMAS, Jr., Matthew Funeral service for Mr. Matthew Thomas, Jr. will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindsey Street Baptist Church, 550 Lindsey Street, NW, with Rev. Anthony A. W. Motley, pastor, officiating. Interment, South- View Cemetery. The remains will be placed in state at the church at 10 a.m. on the morning of the service. The Omega service of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the church at 6 p.m. followed by the family visitation until 8 p.m. Family and friends are requested to assemble at the church at 10:30 a.m. on the morning of the service.
