Family-Placed Death Notice
KANODE, Michael Mr. Michael Kanode, loving husband and father, of Newnan passed away December 21, 2009. Mr. Kanode worked for Xotech, LLC in Tyrone for 10 years. He was a member of Dogwood Church and Southeastern Trail Riders Association. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Kanode of Newnan; daughter, Katelyn Kanode of Newnan; son, Dale Bailey of Newnan; parents, Richard and Sandra Kanode of Newnan; brother, Chris Kanode and his wife Elizabeth of Newnan; father and mother in-law, Richard and Joan Sexton of Newnan; brother in-law, Glenn Sexton and his wife Kim of Lynchburg, VA; niece, Ruby Kanode of Newnan; nephews, Grant Sexton, Chase Sexton both of Lynchburg, VA. A Celebration of his life will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 11 o'clock at Dogwood Church with Pastor Keith Moore officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at Glendalough Manor, 200 Glendalough Ct., Tyrone, GA 30290. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to one of the following organizations: Southeastern Brain Tumor Association, P.O. Box 422471, Atlanta, Georgia 30342 or Dogwood Church Building Fund, 975 Highway 74 North, Tyrone, GA 30290. Those wishing may send an online condolence at www.parrottfuneralhome.com. I didn't know Mike , but Chris was a devoted friend to me when I lost my brother when he was 47. You are in my prayers and thoughts .
