Family-Placed Death Notice

Mr. Paul D. Cantrell, of Roswell, Georgia, died April 21, 2004 after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Freida Cantrell, daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Greg Chesnut of Roswell, Georgia, daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and William Edrington of Cumming, Georgia, son and daughter-in-law, Paul Jr. and Heather Cantrell, of Duluth, Georgia, seven grandchildren, David and Taylor Wright, Brock and Alex Edrington, Morgan, Paul III (Trey) and Madison Cantrell, two step-grandchildren, Cody and Logan Chesnut and two sisters, Jean Clark of McDonough, Georgia and Betty Barrett of Sunset Beach, North Carolina. Mr. Cantrell was born November 26, 1934 in Rockmart, Georgia, and retired from Mack Trucks Inc. as an executive vice president after thirty-five years of service. The family will receive friends this evening at Roswell Funeral Home from 6-8 pm and at Roswell United Methodist Church Parlor, Saturday, April 24 from 2-3 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24 at Roswell United Methodist Church Chapel at 3:00 pm. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Roswell United Methodist Church in lieu of flowers. Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road (770) 993-4811.
