Rebecca and I grew up in Ebenezer together. I always remember her sweet and positive personality. I even remember one year we both chose the same Easter dress, we thought we were too cute--great minds think alike! I'm glad I got to visit Rebecca when we were "all grown up." Rebecca will truly be missed. Your family is continually in my prayers!

I knew Rebecca when she attended Ebenezer Baptist Church, in Austin. Please accept my deepest condolences on the lost of a very upbeat and loving woman. It has been more than a decade since I last saw her, but I will never forget the lesson of patience and compassion she taught me. Your daughter was a blessing to me, and I have never nor will I ever forget her sweet spirit.

My thoughts of Rebecca go back to the years she spent with us in Discipleship Training-Grades 5-6 at Ebenezer. As leaders, Sister Martha Shaw and I did our best to teach the children how to live, what to believe, and how to behave. We studied Baptist doctrine, theology, history, ethics, and much more. Rebecca was a loving child, very respectful, and always wanted to be a part of the group. She was so very special and I feel blessed to have known her. Dear George, Valerie and other family members,
I was truly saddened to hear of the tragic loss of Rebecca. My thoughts and condolences are with all of you. While I had not seen Rebecca since she was about 6, I will always remember two things about her. One is her as a friendly, talkative person who reflected the wonderful parents and family with which she was blessed. The second is the pure joy on your faces when she was born. I was a student of George's when she was born and have never seen anyone look happier. Once again, please accept my heartfelt condolences.

To Valarie & George and Brother and Sister Ellison and all of the family heart felt sympathy goes out to you and your family on the lost of your dear loved one. Brother Ellison gave us so much support when we lost our mother which was a very dear friend to him.Our prayers go out to you and yours and even though we are not there in flesh "GOD" knows we are there with you in sprit and prayer.
