I worked with Dr. Burrell her physician at the time. Me and Renee became friends. If she needed anything she had my direct number at the office. I would sit with her during chemo and we would laugh and talk. Renee was so funny. She could bake. OMG she made me may different cakes but my favorite was pound cake. I love her and I miss her dearly. We all loved her. Nan, Carol, Farrah and Erica. Dr. Burrell has since retired.

Torzell and family, Renee was a wonderful mother and friend. We became friends at St. Paul and have loved each ever since. I will always cherish our friendship and her beautiful smile and spirit. I thank God for the privilege of having her in my life for a season and for having met her. May God comfort and keep you as you trust him through this time of loss.

Have always been a friend of mine--from the 8th grade up to her transitioning. And the best part about our friendship for over 40 years is that it has remained the same along with her humorous personality. Sending my prayers and condolences to the family. From the Penns.

Ms Marcus was the first person we saw at Kes. She would say hello before we got to her office. In the year I worked there she was huge in my walk with the Lord. I miss her so much. I miss our talks. Going to the Kes office is not the same. I miss seeing her behind that desk and I miss you her phone calls. Love you Ms Marcus.

I had the pleasure to meet Renee Marcus as a Secretary State employee and she was someone special and a God fearing personality in those conversations in which you were talking with her.Our father who art in heaven had a plan for her and knew Renee work here was complete and welcome her in. Her spirit will be missed but never forgotten. Just think of something in your life today that Renee left you with that will forever keep her spirit alive. In Jesus name we pray Amen.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. May the fond memories of Renee and the lyrics of her favorite hymn, "Great is Thy Faithfulness" bring you comfort.

I loved worshiping with Renee Marcus at St. Paul A.M.E. Worship Center. I also loved attending bible study with her at the church. She was a beautiful person who truly loved the Lord. My prayers are with her family and loved ones.

Renee was a loving person, a worker bee and a good friend. I worked with her at Secretary of State for many years.
God whispered her name ever so softly and granted her rest. Her earthly vessel may be gone, but her spirit will live forever. Rest peacefully lady.

Torzell, "Ms Rene" had a beautiful spirit and loving soul, that will truly missed. She shared so much of herself. I will always remember the quick chats at the mailbox that turned into hour conversations. :)
