Family-Placed Death Notice
RICHARD EUGENE ANDERSEN Richard Eugene Andersen, 53 of Riverdale went to be with our Lord on Thursday, the 31st day of August, 2006. He was born in Houston, Texas on September 17, 1952 and attended Headland High School in East Point, Georgia. He attended the US Naval Academy, the University of Georgia and Georgia State University and worked for many years in Atlanta as a computer programmer. A Catholic service was held at the Abbey at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta on Tuesday, September 5, 2006. He is survived by his parents, Gene and Grayce Andersen; two brothers; Michael and his wife, Coro, and children Valentina Guzman and Federico Guzman; and Robert and his wife, Oksana, and children Jason Andersen and Katerina Andersen. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to the Cancer or Mental Health Society of your choice. The Cremation Society of the SOUTH is in charge of the arrangements, (770) 420-5557.

To my Uncle Gene and Aunt Gracey and cousins Mike and Bobby,
My feelings of sorrow and sympathy go out to you.
The last time I saw Ricky was in the late 60's or early 70's.I will always remember him as perfection in personality ,looks , and athleticism. Being an only child if I were to have an older brother he would be it.
I look forward to seeing him again in the afterlife.
