Family-Placed Death Notice
SWAIN, Richard Homegoing Services for Mr. Richard Swain, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012, 12:00 NOON at Salem Bible Church, 2283 Baker Road, Atlanta, with remains placed in state at 10:00 A.M. Jasper Williams, Jr., Senior Pastor, Officiating. Interment, Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood. He leaves to cherish, wife, Jessie Pearl Swain; son, Gregory Swain; daughter, Denise Swain-Harris (Mike); five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three brothers, two sisters, brother-in-law, James D. Adams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 11:00 A.M. Donald Trimble Mortuary, Inc., 1876 Second Avenue, 404-371-0772-3.

Sorry to hear of his homegoing. I was a friend of Eddie Paul Jackson, Covington, GA. who also passed away on this past Monday. In the 70's we rode sometime with the Rock Riders M/C.

To the Swain Family and also the Rock Riders M/C Dick was a great person so much fun and I can hear him say his favorite saying was "Show you right" when he was having a good time I know he is smiling down on you from heaven. He enjoyed having his fish frys and his family and friends for his birthday and his family was so gracious and welcoming when you came by.
