Richard Troso Obituary

Richard "Dick" Troso passed away August 19, 2018 after a long battle with lymphoma. Rich was born on November 23, 1941 in the Bronx, New York to the late John and Lillian Troso. He and Barbara enjoyed traveling and his work provided the family the opportunity to explore the world and many of its cultures while living in Taiwan, Korea, Egypt, Venezuela and England. He enjoyed working part time and playing golf with longtime friends, but most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren who could always make him laugh. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Troso of Lilburn; sons, Michael Troso (Renee) of Broomfield, CO and Matthew Troso (Michelle) of Sandy Springs; daughter, Michele Tallent (Robert) of Loganville; grandson, Alex; granddaughters, Rachel, Lillian and Susan; brother, John Troso of Holbrook, NY. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 10:30am at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 715 Hardscrabble Rd, Roswell, GA. The Troso family will receive friends on Friday from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, 12050 Crabapple Rd. Roswell, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lymphoma Society. Troso, Richard John

My deepest condolences to the Troso family. I will always remember Mr. Richard Troso for his kindness, warmth, and good sense of humor. He was very hospitable as I was invited to share a meal with his family on several holidays. He enjoyed telling stories about his work and travels during my visits. He dearly loved his family and was a great provider and protector. He found so much joy in his young grandchildren and showed it often by his affection and playful interactions with them.

Mr. Troso, you will be missed. May you rest in God's eternal arms.
