CURBELO, Robert Angel Robert Angel Curbelo, age 46 of Loganville passed away, Thursday, June 9, 2011. Funeral Services will be held 3 PM, Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Loganville First Baptist Church. with remains placed in state at 2:30 PM. Rev. Jimmy Wilson will officiate. Burial Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville. Mr. Curbelo was a Survival Instructor and Crypto Linguist for the Air Force for eight years. He went on to work for the GBI as a Special Agent for 14 and 1/2 years. Mr. Curbelo is survived by Wife of 27 years, Kathy Curbelo; Children: Sean Robert Curbelo, Kristina Rocio Curbelo, all of Loganville; Parents: Roberto & Sonia Curbelo, Covington; Father-in-law & Mother-in-law: Cesar & Flor Maldonado; Sister & Brother-in-law: Abby & Jorge Basto, Lawrenceville; Sisters-in-law & Brothers-in-law: Mayra & Tom Evans, Loganville; Nancy & Russell Hendricks, Monroe; Cindy & Jorge Correa, Snellville; Nieces & Nephews: Miranda & Nadia Basto, Kara, Jeremy & Andrew Evans, Elena, Julia & Tyler Hendricks, Devin Jordan & Logan Hammond, Natalia Correa; Numerous Extended Family, Cousins & Friends. Family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-9 PM, Saturday, June 11, 2011 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 670 Tom Brewer Road, Loganville, Georgia 30052. 770-466- 1544. Although I never got to meet Robert or get to know him and his wife Cathy, I feel very close to them through his sister n law Cindy. It always touched my heart so to hear of the love that Cathy and Robert shared and the love that the entire family had for each other. I am saddend for Cindy and her family and Robert's wife Cathy for their loss but I am joyful to know that he has gone on to a much better place and he is healthy once again. I pray for strength for the family that they will need to get through this hard time.
