Family-Placed Death Notice

HALL, Robert Robert Henry Hall died peacefully May 17, 2008 with his family by his side. He was born November 3, 1922 in Walthourville, Georgia, to Essie and James Hall. He served in England with the U.S. Air Force during World War II. In 1951, he earned a degree in architecture from Georgia Tech. While at Georgia Tech, he joined North Avenue Presbyterian Church, where he met and married Edna Whitely. The couple remained active members for over fifty years. As head usher, Robert enjoyed welcoming members and visitors to the church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna. He is survived by children Laura Hall Kitchens and husband Steve; Robert Hall, Jr. and wife Keren Ludwig; Mary Celeste Llaurador and husband Kermit; Carrie Hall Chute and husband Harvey; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Hall home on Monday, May 19th from 3-6 PM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 11 AM at North Avenue Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to North Avenue Presbyterian Church.

Sorry I am so late on this I did not see it in the paper and only heard about it later. My prayers and sympathy are with all of you. I lost a very good friend. I am glad I had the pleasure of his and Edna's friendship.
