Just learned of Rocky's passing as I prepare to use some of his inventive material for an upcoming presentation on HUD CPD programs. Rocky was a joy to work with and a joy to learn from. His family and friends may take comfort in knowing that his legacy endures.

I´m sorry to read of Rocky´s passing. I was a freshman at Mercer when Rocky was a senior. He kept me informed and showed me the ropes. It was always a treat to be in his company.

I met Rocky many years ago when he was with TDA, Inc., one of numerous consulting contractors while working at HUD’s LA CPD Office. Rocky was one that knew everything there was to know. We kept in touch for many years after my retirement, always sharing information, good or bad, etc. We talked about everything. He was always working on something trying to help those in need in the world of Community Planning and Development assisting those communities that were looking for ways to comply with HUD regulations and best practices. Great sense of humor, and he always knew where the good eats were. Will miss him greatly.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I will love you and miss you always. Every time I think of VISTA, you are right there in the midst. Rocky was a devoted father and Emily and Philip are his most precious loves...he was a proud father!!! It gives me great joy to pay forward the friendship that he deposited into my life.

I can hardly put my sadness into these words. Rocky's daughter just let me know about his passing today. I met Rocky through mutual HUD friends. He and I used to talk and carry on about everything.
He was so proud of his children and the work he had done over the years and his character was so pleasing. Rocky was one of a kind on this earth.
If anyone deserves the best in a beautiful Afterlife it's Rocky - a best friend to anyone he'd ever met :)

I went to high school with Rocky. We hung around together and were in the same classes. Used to visit Whitefront market and knew his mom well. Went to many outings at Camp Waco. I have very fond memories of Rocky. I saw Rocky at high school reunions but our group really connected again at our 30 year reunion. After that there were many get togethers at the Varsity. I am so very sad we lost Rocky and offer his family my prayers and sympathy. I will miss Rocky. He was a true light.

Rocky was my double first cousin. His mom and my dad were siblings. His dad and my mom were siblings. While growing up, we were like brothers. Either he was at our house, or I was at his. Only a couple of days separated us by age. As we grew older, we took different paths in our lives and we weren't as close, but we were still friends an most of all family. You will truly be missed by many. Love you man.

I wish I could be there to honor Rocky. He was an amazing friend to me and countless others. Rocky loved his children and was incredibly proud of them. His hilarious stories about his brothers brought me numerous belly laughs. I will greatly miss his trivia emails and his ponderings by his koi pond. Rest well, Rocky. I know there must be a plethora of bourbon in heaven.

I only recently became acquaited with Rocky but he was great and even followed up with me several times following the class I attened in OKC. I can't say enough about his work and dedication to helping Economic developers. He set a very high bar for others to follow.
