Dearest Nick and Quinn, Anyone that knew or have ever crossed paths with Layne, viewed her character as the epitome of elegance and impeccable good taste. Her home going service was all of that and more! I am so very proud of you both that I could just burst! In addition to the love and support of family and friends, she has left the both of you with so many great memories to help strengthen you for the difficult days ahead. I love you and adore you. To Nicholas and Quinn, the two heartbeats of your mother Ruby Elaine Maddox. I'm Juan B. Hendrix, I came to know and love your mom By way of sharing the life of E. Raynard Scott! Musically connected thru the Atlanta Philharmonic Chorale & John Griggs myself and my sister(rip)Leslynn C. Hendrix would go sing and later hangout to eat somewhere are remembered good times. Your Mom once she join the Haugabrooks family career, she has comforted and assist my family & myself press on in the homegoing of My Dad and my Mom. She being part of the circle of that transition in our lives made it more cushioned or comforted emotionally and physically. I know the love has for you is shared in our friendship together. So I am available if you need me for a listening ear or to talk to. I want to be an extended family when you want me or need me, okay...Otay!!! Know the Lord has now given your Mom another assignment to possibly now watch over you guys(Angel New)! She will still have open spirit connection when you need her.
