Family-Placed Death Notice

ORDNER, SANDRA SANDRA ORDNER Sandra Lynn Ordner, age 47 of Atlanta, GA passed away Friday, February 1, 2008. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 5, 2008 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Norcross, 30092. The funeral service will be held, Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 10:00 am at Mary our Queen Catholic Church, 6200 The Corners Parkway, Norcross, 30092. Sandra was born in Atlanta, GA. February 17, 1960 but lived most of her adult life in Decatur, GA. and Clarkesville, GA. She was the daughter of Chuck and Toby Graves, and the grand-daughter of Leon and Lola Dodson and Alfred and Rebecca Graves. She attended Towers High School, Georgia State University, Brenau University completing her masters in Education. Early in her teaching career she taught IT courses at Crestwood High School, Roswell, GA. She later completed an accelerated program as a database administrator for the Oracle Corporation. She was also President of the international IT recruiting company www.ordnerinc.com. Sandra was married to Paul William Ordner for 22 years. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend to many. She was kind to everyone and always saw the best in people. She enjoyed music, the piano and hiking. She is survived by her son, Paul Charles Ordner; sister, Dia Norton and her daughter Taylor Norton; parents-in-law, Virgil and Patsy Ordner; brother-in-law and wife, David and Lisa Ordner; brother-in-law and wife, Donald and Scarlett Ordner; niece and family, Caroline, Scott and Jackson Douglas; nephew, Jeff Ordner; niece, Vivian Ordner; nephews, James and Benjamin Ordner; and best friend of 20 years, June Bonds.
