Family-Placed Death Notice
DUMAS, Sarah BARNESVlLLE - SARAH FRANCES DUMAS passed Saturday, July 17, 2010. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 24, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the St. Luke A.M.E. Church, 143 James Street, Forsyth, with burial in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Barnesville, Ga. Rev. C.W. Dumas, Sr. will officiate. Survivors include: mother, Mrs. Lucy B. Dumas; siblings: Rev. Charles W. Dumas, Sr., Sherryl D. Robinson and Stanley D. Dumas; step-daughter: Denise Hennedy-Shane; one grandchild; one aunt, Ms. Elnor Butler, a host of other relatives. Her father and a sister preceded her in death. The body will be placed in the church one hour before the service. WILLIS-FUNERAL SERVICES HAS CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.

Sarah and I were class mates at Booker HIgh School, Barnesville GA. We remain friends until she took her wings. She was a joy to talk to, we shared many memories when we both lived in Atlanta and worked at First National Bank together. I enjoyed listen to her on Wring Radio as she called herself the Black Panterette, she often spare with one of the other host.

Sarah was my classmate at Booker High School, she and i was also good friends as we both moved to Atlanta to further our education. You will be missed Carolyn Lindsey Ridley and the class of 1959.
