Family-Placed Death Notice

Susan Kent Adams, 59, of Atlanta, died Thursday, May 31, 2007. She is survived by her husband, Richard "Butch" Adams, also of Atlanta; daughters Catherine Adams of San Francisco, California; Elizabeth Adams of Raleigh, North Carolina; and her brother Jack Kent of Decatur, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Kent of Atlanta. She was born January 10, 1948 in Charlottesville, Virginia to the late John H. Kent, Jr. and the late Mary Alyce Kent of Rome, Georgia. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 7, 2007 in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son, Springhill, 1020 Spring Street N.W., Atlanta, Georgia, 30309. Family will be receiving friends at 12:00 P.M. at H.M. Patterson & Son. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to AID Atlanta, 1605 Peachtree Street N.E., Atlanta, Georgia.

I was Susan Sprayberry's roomate at Creswell Hall where I met Susan Adams and her wonderful brothers!! She was so friendly and caring and I will never forget her friendship. Love Marty from Florida

Susan was a dear friend and pulled me through a very bad period in my life as well as hers. She kept me sane and helped me understand life a little better. My thoghts are with all of you. Just remember she and Richard are somewhere giggling.
