Thomas Weidner Obituary

Thomas James Weidner

December 24, 1953 - September 6, 2025

Thomas James Weidner, 71, of Normal, Illinois went to be with the Lord peacefully at his home with family by his side on September 6th, 2025.

Tom was born in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts to Tom and Gloria Weidner. Growing up he liked to hunt, fish, go camping and ice skate on the local pond during winter. When Tom was 14 years old his family moved from Ohio to Illinois where he met his future wife, Christine Dowell. He finally got a date with Chris after he fixed her car outside a local pizza joint. The rest is history. Tom and Chris started their family in Monticello before moving into their forever home in Normal.

Tom was preceded in death by his dad, Thomas Weidner, and his mom, Gloria Weidner. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Christine Weidner, and his three daughters, Gabrielle (Jared) Brothers, Grace (Noah) Prince, Hillary (Evan) Carson, his two brothers, Kurt (Karen) Weidner, Gregg (Carol) Weidner, and his eight grandchildren, Audry, Asher, Jason, Gideon, Ellie, Caleb, Ariella and Theodore.
