T.P. Perkins Obituary
Family-Placed Death Notice
The Homegoing Celebration for The Reverend T. P. Perkins will be Friday, September 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Greater Fortress Baptist Church, 719 Pearce Street, with remains placed instate at 9:30 a.m. Entombment, Monte Vista Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2005 in Elizabeth's Chapel, Dawson Mortuary, 7-8:00 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Della M. Perkins; sons, Dr. William T. Perkins (Margaret) and Reverend John E. Perkins, Sr. (Gloria); daughters, Mrs. Gloria P. Hayes and Mrs. Linda N. Howard (Jim); ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, one brother and a host of other relatives and friends. Alfonso Dawson Mortuary, Inc., 404-691-3810.

To the Perkins Family & Greater Fortress Ave. Baptist Church Family,
May GOD be your comfort during your time of sorrow. Rev. Perkins was a great shepherd and his preaching legacy will be remembered. Greater Fortress be strong and take care of Mother Perkins and the family.
And GOD will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death not sorrow, nor crying and there shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away...(Rev 21:4).
