Vaughan Kilpatrick Obituary

KILPATRICK, Vaughan Vaughan Kilpatrick passed away peacefully on December 30, 2018. Born on October 14, 1948 at St. Joseph's Infirmary in Atlanta, she was the daughter of Henrietta Green Kilpatrick and Edgar G. Kilpatrick. Vaughan attended Morris Brandon Elementary School and The Lovett School, from which she graduated with honors. She went on to Vanderbilt University and received a BA in Latin. She later attended Georgia State University and earned a Master's Degree in Philosophy. She is survived by her mother and her sisters, Carol K. Penn and Rhetta Kilpatrick (Reese Horton). Donations in her memory would be gratefully received by Furkids, the Southeast's largest cage-free, no-kill animal shelter. www.furkids.org/donate. 2650 Pleasantdale Road, Atlanta, GA 30340. A Celebration of Life for Vaughan will be planned for the spring.
