Family-Placed Death Notice
MEALOR, Victoria Victoria "Vickie" Lynn Daurity Mealor, age 54, of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010 after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Brandon and Caitlin Mealor of Lawrenceville and Brandon's father, Sidney Mealor of Dacula, GA, cousin, Wilma Pike of Siler City, NC. and many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Ella (Francisco) Daurity. Vickie was born in Siler City, NC had worked in the banking and mortgage industry. Vickie's most joy was being a homemaker loving and raising her son. She was such a loving and caring friend, always doing for others. Vicki was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lawrenceville. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Vickie will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church. Rev. Sherri Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ovarian Cancer Institute, 960 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 130, Atlanta, GA 30342. Condolences may be sent or view at www.wagesfuneralhome.com Tom M. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Vickie. I have such sweet, fond memories of Vickie. She had a huge heart and always had an encouraging word to say to me and others. Brandon, Caitlin, and Sidney, our thoughts and prayers are with you. God bless you, Sandra McCravy
