To Family and Friends of Viola Ayers,
Several years ago, Aunt Viola kindly gave a family history interview over the phone. I recorded two long phone calls. She had a wonderful memory. Her life was filled with dedication to her work and projects, love of her family, and a history that spanned nearly a century. She was a grand lady and will be missed. May she rest in eternal peace surrounded by love and heavenly grace.

Mama and Aunt Viola, along with their other precious friends are together again in eternal peace and joy. We shall NEVER forget Aunt Vi and all her qualities of love, devotion, absolute dedication to friends and family. I loved her singing voice in choir as well as her being with me & my family throughout my life. I only wish that I had known before today.
MEMORY ETERNAL! My love to you, Martha and to you Ellis always!

Aunt Viola was a very kind and caring person. Her home was always open to everyone. She will be dearly missed.

Viola was a dear friend. We've known her since we joined St. Elias Orthodox Church in 1969. She was the example of the hard working memebers of the church and its St. Mary's Ladies Society. She remembered the birthday of each of our five children and never failed to ask about them whenever we talked to her. One more thing: She was the best sale's woman during the St. Elias Mid-East Festival. May her memory be sternal.
