My heart is deeply saddened after just hearing my friend Midge has left this side to go to a better place I pray. It's been a very long time maybe 40 years are more since I saw her. God says in order to get a friend one must first show themselves to be friendly. That she was. To the family I will always remember the good times we shared as kids. Please know that this is a hard thing for me right now but GOD is still in control. With the love of Jesus I pray healing for the entire family. Love Minister Lena CALHOUN HAYNES

I am so heart broken. I have loss my friend, my playmate, my cousin. The voice of Midge is no longer in the world, but God's everlasting love and voice will be with her. God bless and keep all who knew Violet "Midge" Lambert.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Ms. Lambert. Such a sweet, sweet person, that will never be forgotten. I met Ms. Lambert while working at Citizen's trust bank, where she was a long time customer. I left citizens trust bank in 2012 but Ms. Lambert was one of my customers that I will never forget. All I keep hearing in my head is her calling my name in that sweet voice of hers, "Heyyy Ms. Winfrey!" Lol! I will never forget her stylish ways and her sweet smile! Ms. Lambert will truly be missed! Rest in sweet peace baby doll!:-)
