I am sure that Mr Rouse will be missed by his family as he was missed here at Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent when he retired. He was a big man who stood tall, so he doesn't have to go far to reach heaven's door. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. He will not be forgotten.

I first met Warren in 1968 when he hired me as a Engineering Associate with Western Electric. He had a tremendous knowledge of the telecommunication industry and life in general.I know that he will be missed by his family and by many many others that knew him. Beck, I know that God will continue to take of you, Warren and Stephanie in the many days and weeks to come. May God bless you always.

Warren and I became friends back in 1964 when the two of us worked at Western Electric. My earliest memory of Warren was that he was extremely smart and that he didn't mind sharing his knowledge with others. Warren understood corporate politics better than anyone I knew, and as he climbed the corporate ladder, he always used his positions to help others. Warren excelled at bowling and golf, and almost every day we spent the lunch hour playing bid whist where he was a masterplayer. Warren truly loved his family, and I join them in praying that God will manifest in Warren everlasting peace. I also pray that the memories of Warren and his great sense of humor will comfort Beck, Steffany, Warren and the rest of the family in the days to come.
