I met Bill while dating his sister Susan. He hired me to do the Grand Opening of the original Lowe Gallery with my many years of owning an Atlanta public relations consulting business. Bill was fun to be around along with his Mom and large family.
I just am seeing this sad news this afternoon and yes Bill will be missed as one of the leaders of promoting Southern USA artists.

I will be ever grateful for my time with Bill. He was, indeed, a work of Art. His generous spirit and beautiful smile I will always remember and treasure.

I knew bill before his gallery in Miami circle. I stumbled upon him while soliciting a venue for a charitable function. Bill opened his gallery then-peachtree to our cause. Later he again allowed us to use his Miami location for charity. Bill was always smiling. Kind. Aware. Attentive and a true good spirit. Bill, I send affections and love your way. You are truly a human gift to many and an the Art Icon of Arlanta. May God Care for your soul.

Please accept my sincerest sympathies on the loss of Bill. He was exceptionally kind to me in helping me understand the impact of art -when other galleriest would frown on my queries, I always felt welcome at his gallery. After a conversation with Bill, I left wiser, and I will forever appreciate his humor, diplomacy, and statesmanship.

I came to admire and appreciate Bill over time for his friendship and support to me, "a fellow gallerist". He truly left his mark in the art scene, and will be missed by many.
