Dr. William Meinert will be sadly missed by the Students, Residents and Faculty who he touched through teaching. He was a very loved and admired physician at Emory University, and a leader in Family Medicine.
As an avid photographer, one of his themes was reclaimation- and the earth taking back. He to has been reclaimed by the earth.
May he rest in peace.

Dr. Bill will be missed by our entire family. He was kind and loved dogs. We would stop when we walked by the house if he was out and he always had a kind word and petting for our dogs. I lost my Mom last year and he had comforting words for me during my grieving. Bill also made time to rib my husband in their continuing Notre Dame - Ohio State banter. We will miss him very much and will keep fond memories of him in our hearts.

Dr. Meinert will truly be missed. He always made me laugh. Every morning he would come in for his morning cup of coffee and his breakfast snack " a Snickers" candy bar !
