MARY (PUNKIN) GORDON

June 5, 2003

TO THE FAMILY OF ZANDER SWIFT: I HAVE BEEN KNOWING BROTHER, FROM EARLY CHILD HOOD, AND HE WAS A TRUE FRIEND OF MIND, WE PLAYED TOGETHER. WHEN HE WENT INTO THE SERVICE, HE CAME BACK AS ZANDER AKA Z-MAN. UNTIL WHEN I WOULD RUN INTO HIM SOME WHERE, AND PEOPLE WOULD ASK ME IF I KNEW ZANDER, I WOULD SAY I KNOW BROTHER. I SAW SOME OF THE THINGS HE WENT THRU WHILE HE WAS ILL, AND I SAW HOW GOD BROUGHT HIM THRU, UNTIL IT WOULD SCARE ME.

I THEN FOUND OUT THAT BROTHER HAD RECEIVED GOD AS HIS SAVIOR, SO I KNOW THAT HE IS ALRIGHT, HE JUST RESTING UNTIL GOD COME FOR US ALL.

I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE PRAISE TO HIS SISTER, BECAUSE SHE WAS THERE FOR HER BROTHER, AND SHE MADE SURE HE WAS TAKING CARE OF WHILE IN WAS IN THE HOSPITAL AND OUT. THE LAST TIME I SAW ZANDER HE WAS WALKING AROUND TALKING TO EVERYONE AT THE HOSPITAL, AND SMILING, UNTIL YOU WOULDN'T EVEN THANK THAT HIS DAY WAS SO NEAR. HE WOULD ALWAYS SAY THERE'S PUNKIN AND SHE IS MY COUSIN. I AM GOING TO MISS HIM, BUT I KNOW THAT I WILL SEE HIM AGAIN SO DAY. SO I LEAVE WITH THE FAMILY MY LOVE, AND MY CONDOLENCE, MAY GOOD BE WITH YOU ALL AND KEEP YOU IN HIS ARMS DURING YOUR TIME OF SORRY. AND YOU ALL WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS.

LOVE,

PUNKIN
