Florence Anderson Obituary

Florence Myra Jorgensen was born Oct. 8, 1941, the daughter of Edward Nels and Neva Ann (McGuire) Jorgensen in Anthon, and passed away Friday, June 25, 2010, at the Atlantic Nursing and Rehab Center in Atlantic.
Florence was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and it was the joy of her life serving Jehovah God. She leaves her family and many friends with the hope of seeing them again in the resurrection. (Revelation 21:3, 4)
Survivors include her children, Bobby (Andee) Anderson of Pascagoula, Miss., Laura (Paul) Huddleson of Wiota, Randy (Becky) Anderson of Atlantic, Mike Anderson of Atlantic, Darby (Angie) Anderson of Atlantic, and Jenny (Perry) Knoell of Atlantic; her brother, Kim (Diane) Jorgensen of Lake Manawa; her sisters, Lois (Chuck) Gunter of Marco Island, Fla. and Jean (Doug) Williams of Massena; her brother-in-law, Wayne Barnes of Lamoni; her special friend, Margaret Hanley of Moss Point, Miss.; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Neva Jorgensen; her beloved mother-in-law, Treva Anderson; and her sister, Ruth Barnes.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 17 at 10 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses, 811 E. 4th Street, Atlantic.
A lunch will be held at the Atlantic Senior Center, 411 Walnut Street, Atlantic, following the memorial service.
Hockenberry Family Care in Atlantic is in charge of arrangements.
