Karen Dant Obituary
Public visitation with the family will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 02 at the Peace United Church of Christ in Walnut.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at Peace United Church of Christ in Walnut. Interment will take place at Layton Township Cemetery following the funeral. A luncheon will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the Church following the committal.
Memorials may be directed to the Karen Dant Family. They will be designated at a later date in her memory and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, Iowa 50022.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home of Atlantic.

Karen and I had a lot of adventures together during our high school days. Years later she came out to California and stayed with me a couple of days and we toured the highlights here. She and I kept in touch over all these years. I will miss her!
